A Futuristic Vision for Smart Economies
Sharjah FDI Office proudly hosts the Sharjah Investment Forum, as they embark in exploring a wider and global investment ecosystem. The forum garners over 132 expert speakers, more than 1,500 elite business visitors spanning over 50 countries over the world. This Forum also boasts over 20 sponsors and exhibiting country pavilions, covers over 60 topics with more than 50 registered media organizations and more than 12 hours of networking and learning.
Overview
Sharjah FDI Forum is a reflection of continued success, transcending into a platform where the world comes together to discuss FDI, technology and beyond, with a collective agenda to identify and map out challenges and opportunities within the global investment sector. They needed an online portal in the shape of a mobile app before the launch of an event to ensure it remains the stage as one of the top investment gatherings in the UAE and world.

What were the Challenges in Developing Sharjah FDI Forum’s Website?
User Engagement & Accessibility
One of the biggest challenges in developing this app was to ensure the turbulent-free and immersive user experience (UX) for a global, diverse audience, as well as ensuring the ease of accessibility in using the app.
Event Updates in real Time
As the event was getting near, the main challenge was to ensure the app was being updated with real time information before and during the live event to ensure smooth communication.
Multilingual Functionality
As the forum is a global one and hosts visitors from more than 50 countries, the app had to have the multilingual functionality to support numerous languages to cater to an international audience.
Secure Networking Opportunities
Given this is one of the leading forums in the world, a key challenge while developing this app was to ensure the security of communication among the investors, delegates and some of the elite businessmen in the world, attending this event.
